OBJECTS OF INTERDEPENDENCE
(2012)
For this body of work I imagined and designed speculative household objects, each of which require multiple participants to function properly. I then photographed the objects as individual products as well as in use. This work questions the underlying values embedded in product design, and imagine an alternate world in which cooperation is valued over personal autonomy.
